NPP refutes claims that Nana Addo is suffering from cancer. Do not fall for reports that Nana Addo is suffering from cancer, the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has warned. Reports by the Daily Guide show that incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) has “contracted the US-based magazine called Africawatch” to publish a false report on the health of Nana Addo titled; “NPP campaign in jeopardy…Akufo-Addo has cancer.” Nana Addo in his response to these claims of having cancer stated at a campaign rally in the Northern region that the attempts by the NDC to tag him with cancer “will not work”.
