WE WILL KICK AGAINST ANY ILLEGAL CHIEF INSTALLED ........ WASA NKONYA YOUTHS VOWS

Some irate youths and council of elders of Wasa Nkonya of Wasa Amenfi East municipal in the Western region on Wednesday, April, 18, 2018 has insisted to resist any 'illegal' chief if should be instooled illegally in the community.

The chieftaincy stool of Wasa Nkonya has been vacant for 3 years after a sudden demise of the late chief, Nana Kwame Gyamfi ix which has resulted into litigation as to a legitimate Royal befitting to succeed their departure.

The 'abusuapanin' of Wasa Nkonya, Abusuapanin Frimpong Manso has expressed his displeasure as to how the chief of Wasa Abenabena, Nana Ntsie Bediako ii who double as 'Akwamuhene' for Wasa Amenfi Traditional Area, according to the Abusuapanin, he ( Nana Entsei Bediako ii )
aimed to instool and impose an 'illegal' chief on the people of Wasa Nkonya.

Adding that, the family of the late Nana Kwame Gyamfi has performed the requisite norms and customs requested by Nana Entsi Bediako ii demanding two thousand, five hundred Ghana CEDI's ( ghc2,500 ), two sheeps and two bottles of schnapps since he is the divisional chief in the area.
However, the chief of Wasa Abenabena in an exclusive interview with the press narrating his side of the heartbreaking dispute, he said, his actions is followed a verdict which came off by the Wasa Amenfi Paramount chief, Tetreete Okuamoah Skyim ii when sited with both families to resolve the issues at the Paramount chief's palace. Thus, according to Nana Bediako, he has not done anything contrary to the Paramount chief's decision therefore, his actions are legal.
The Assembly member for Wasa Nkonya electoral area, hon J.K Boakye assured of petitioning the Wasa Amenfi East municipal chief executive, hon. Helina Ama Appiah and the Wasa Akropong municipal police commander, supt. Bright Boafo as a matter of  agency, intervain the emanating riot to calm tempers down as blood shared is underway.

He urged the security agency and the assembly to instill peace with integrity to calm situations down for peace and harmony to prevail.
