The incident happened at 11:30am on Sunday.

He is currently being held for interrogation at the Airport Police Station, the report adds.

"The suspect who claims to be a student of University of Ghana, Legon, was spotted in the company of the security details of the Vice – President of the Republic of Ghana at the Airport,"said the Officers who arrested Ibrahim, as quoted by myNewsGh.com

They stated that the “demeanour and style of the suspect” made them highly suspicious of him for which reason they accosted him for a brief interrogation, leading to the discovery that he was a fake soldier.

He is said to have confessed to the Police that the uniforms belong to his elder brother Sargent Zakari Ibrahim of 5BN Burma Camp, with whom he stays.

It has been confirmed that Sargent Zakari Ibrahim is presently on Peacekeeping Operations in Lebanon.
