KENNEDY AGYAPONG LEAKS PICTURES OF INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST ANAS

The member of parliament for Assin central constituency, Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has released  pictures referring it to be pictures of the  award winning investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. In his recent u turn of exposing the candidature of the Undercover journalist,  the legislator promised to make public with  ''unclean'' Anas, which he thinks ought to be stopped from throwing dust into the public eyes. He's particularly against the approaches used by Anas in gathering facts before cameras to the detriment of a hard earned reputation of prominent people.  Meanwhile, the pictures released  are said to be pictures of a Brazilian footballer called Patrick Marcelino. Wanted’ Nyantakyi returns home today as he abruptly ends Morocco trip to hand himself over to the police.

Embattled Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi is to turn himself in, following an order for his arrest by President Nana Akufo-Addo, Tuesday. Touchghana.blogspot.com has learnt Mr. Nyantakyi, who is on international assignment in Morocco, has indicated his willingness to hand himself over to the police for questioning over allegations of influence peddling by the President. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed the arrest of the President of the Ghana Football Association over fraud after he watched a video documentary by investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, in which Mr Nyantakyi is captured engaging in some influence peddling using the name of the president. The disclosure will prove embarrassing to the man easily recognised as the most successful football head under whose stewardship Ghana first qualified to the FIFA World Cup in Germany 2006 and followed with two more successive appearances in South Africa (2010) and Brazil 2014. The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed the arrest of the President of the Ghana Football Association over fraud. Kwesi Nyantakyi is believed to be engaged in some influence peddling using the name of the president. The directive follows an investigative piece by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Teachers to write license exams in July

Source:  Kasapafm     All prospective teachers in the country seeking to be professionals from 2017/2018 academic year and beyond are scheduled to write a Professional Examination set for 25th July, 2018, the National Teaching Council (NTC) of the Ministry of Education has announced. In a letter dated 3rd May, 2018 and signed by the Executive Secretary of the NTC, Dr. Evelyn Oduro, said:” Passing the Licensure Examination is one of the conditions for the issuance of Professional Teaching License and Registration Numbers to qualified trained teachers.” Meanwhile, the letter indicated that fees and charges for the said exams will be communicated to teachers in due course. There was a wave of panic and confusion among the various teacher unions when the issue came to the fore last year, but the NTC insisted the move was to enforce discipline and eliminate non-performing teachers from the system, in accordance with the new Teachers Licencing Policy under the Education Act 778 (2008).

Ghana Premier League now Zylofon Cash Premier League

The Ghana Football Association has sealed a five-year deal with Zylofon Media for the sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League. Beginning this season, Zylofon Media will dedicate its subsidiary firm, Zylofon Cash, as the sponsors of the nation’s top-tier league. The deal which was signed on Thursday may 17, 2018 in Accra, It is expected to benefit the second-tier league, Division One League, as well. According to GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi, The premier league has been without sponsorship since 2015, when First Capital Plus Bank abrogated its contract with the GFA and hence hope to see more of attractiveness in the Ghanaian league following this deal. According to reports, the Zylofon deal is worth $10 million in total with the Association getting $2 million each year. Tomatoes rots at Tuobodom, buyers travel to Burkina instead

Thousands of tonnes of ripped tomatoes are rotting by the roadside and in the farms of Tuobodom as buyers bypass the town and travel all the way to Burkina Faso to buy some. Tuobodom the Techiman North district capital is a much known tomatoes growing area but farmers over the years have suffered post-harvest losses and this is killing the business hence calling on buyers to come to their aid.  Mr. Baffour Afrifa Chairman of the Federation of Tomatoes Growers Association Ghana speaking to Nana Kwadwo Adu of Asta Fm lamented that it was very pathetic that loads of tomato trucks returned from Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso through Tuobodom meanwhile there were several tonnes of ready tomatoes available here in Techiman North therefore called on government to intervene. NaBCO hit with major challenges

Barely two weeks after its launch, the Nation Builders Corps (NaBCO) programme has been hit with some setbacks. The programme, which aims at reducing graduate unemployment in the country, allows applicants to submit their applications online. However, applicants have been frustrated by their inability to complete the registration online due to constant system failure. Some applicants, who narrated their ordeals to the DAILY HERITAGE, expressed dissatisfaction about the registration processes and called for immediate intervention from authorities to ensure the programme is successful. An applicant, who spoke to the paper on condition of anonymity, said though he began the process on Thursday, May 3, he was yet to complete it due to the system breakdown. “Initially I thought it was the internet service here so I delayed the process to do it the following day.
