NSS ONLINE REGISTRATION: Guidelines To Follow

1.To start the NSS ONLINE REGISTRATION, first requirement is to get PIN CODE

2. Get your Pin Code by entering your Index/Registration/School ID number* here ➡ https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-pin

3. Click on *Search* to retrieve your Pin Code

4. Having gotten your *Pin Code,* send your Pin Code to any ADB Bank and pay GHC 40

5. You can equally pay via mobile money. *Below procedure works for all networks*

[6. Paying through mobile money, kindly enter your index number here ➡https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-pin

Look at bottom of the page where you retrieved your Pin Code. You will see CLICK NEXT TO PAY*

Your Name, programme of study and Pin Code, shall be displayed after clicking on the *CLICK NEXT TO PAY Tab*

On that page, there is a *Space* where you are to enter the *mobile money number* you want the GHC 41 to be deducted from.

Just enter the mobile money number in the *Space* provided.

After providing the momo number, you will receive an alert on your phone asking for MM PIN to Confirm the payment.

You Pin Code is activated immediately the GHC 41 is deducted.]

You can equally use the usual momo transaction steps of your network.
Eg, MTN users can use the *170* procedure to make the payment.

7. Having gotten the Pin Code activated, let’s move to the Online Registration proper

*NOTE:* You can do the Registration on your phone but because of the identification, it is always simple & smooth when the Registration is done on a PC.

*STARTING* ONLINE REGISTRATION

1. To begin online Registration, simply enter your *Index Number & Pin Code* here ➡ https://portal.nss.gov.gh/registration-signin

4. Click on *ACCESS REGISTRATION FORM*

5. You will be asked to select means of identification…
Here, you are to select *one* of these National IDs: *SSNIT CARD, PASSPORT, DRIVER’S LICENSE or VOTER ID.*

6. After selecting the card you wish to use, the system will ask for the *ID NO* on the card

7. Enter the *NATIONAL ID NO*

8. After entering the *NATIONAL ID NO,* the Registration system will do quick search through the government’s central database.

If your *NATIONAL ID* is a valid one, you will see the exact image of that *NATIONAL ID Card* with your photo displayed on your PC.

9. Check to see if the photo on the card is yours.
If it’s yours, click on *Confirm and continue*

10. Having finished with the identification,
You will be required to upload your passport size photograph.

i. Size of the photo shouldn’t be more than 1mb.

ii. The Dimensions of the passport size photo should be 150*200 pixels.
Preferably, background of the photo should be *white.*

11. Having uploaded the photo, kindly fill all the required personal information.
Check to see that, every information you are providing is accurate.

13. Having filled all the required information, Click *Submit*

14. Immediately your registration form is *Submitted,* a new *Congratulatory page* will be displayed on your PC.

The congratulatory page shall come with your NSS *NSS NUMBER*

15. Print the *Congratulatory page* for future reference.
The *NSS NUMBER* on that printout is the very important thing.

16. You will need the *NSS NUMBER* throughout your NATIONAL SERVICE PERIOD.

17. Apart from the Congratulatory page you are to print out for future reference, the NSS shall also send the *NSS NUMBER* to you via sms/text message.

17. NOTE: After the online Registration, you won’t submit any printout to the NSS office

18. You shall be required to provide your *E-ZWICH* after the Appointment Letters have been released somewhere in June/July.

Unemployed nurses petition President Mahama

The aggrieved unemployed nurses on Wednesday, April 27, embarked on another demonstration to register their misgivings over delays in their postings. The nurses and midwives at the Kwame Nkrumah circle in Accra The graduate nurses and midwives took to the street because the Health Ministry has failed to get them posted. Government committed to making Ghana safe - Ambrose Dery

Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has assured Ghanaians that government is committed to making the country safe for the citizens.
