BREAKING: Ghana’s President Goes missing as flagstaff house catches fire today

Prez. John Mahama is reported missing after
the Flagstaff House caught fire in the
afternoon of Thursday during a heavy
downpour which flooded the premises.
Karma has visited the president after calls to
check drainage and find permanent solutions
to floods in Accra were received by deaf ears.
The fire is said to have been caused by the
heavy rains and poor wiring system at the
premises.
In a tweet, which was later deleted, NADMO
confirmed the report and assured the NDC and
the general public of their swift response to
the incident.
According to escapees, they believe anyone
who is still inside the building is burnt.
In June 3, 2015, a double (fire and flood)
disaster hit Accra which claimed people’s

Unemployed nurses petition President Mahama

The aggrieved unemployed nurses on Wednesday, April 27, embarked on another demonstration to register their misgivings over delays in their postings. The nurses and midwives at the Kwame Nkrumah circle in Accra The graduate nurses and midwives took to the street because the Health Ministry has failed to get them posted. The nurses and midwives have been home for the past 10 months Clad in their uniforms and red bands, the nurses converged on the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra; where they carried placards with inscriptions like – “A hungry nurse is a potential killer, We are tired of staying home, We need our financial clearance now; no more delays, Evidence based nurses and midwives demonstration”. Government committed to making Ghana safe - Ambrose Dery

Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has assured Ghanaians that government is committed to making the country safe for the citizens.
