Invincible Forces cleans Tamale West Hospital

The Chairman for the Northern regional chapter of the Invincible Forces, Musah M. Murtala, has urged Ghanaians not to perceive its members as bad people.

According to him, they “are just party men who wish to see Nana Addo become President of Ghana and nothing like a vigilante group or a pressure group; we are just a security group for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and not the government”.

Murtala indicated that they are law-abiding and will support the party to be in power for a very long time.

He made this known during a cleanup exercise organised by the group at the Tamale West Hospital over the weekend to commemorate the New Year.

Mr Murtala further indicated that the group will organise more of such social programmes to erase the perception that it is made up of a bunch of lawless people.

“For instance, they saw us this morning; we came out in our numbers, the doctors and everybody saw us doing the cleanup. They never thought we could come out with such an idea but my regional executives always have good plans for Tamale and the Northern Region,” he added.

The Chairman also used the opportunity to appeal to the leadership of the NPP to complete their northern regional office complex.

Meanwhile, the Health Services Administrator of the Tamale West Hospital, Mr Twumasi Ankrah, has commended the Invincible Forces for the activity. He said the cleanup exercise means a lot to the facility since the workforce of the hospital is inadequate.

Mr Twumasi further appealed to the group to add blood donation to their activities the next time they embark on a similar exercise.
