Election may not happen on December, 7

Presidential and Parliamentary elections may not happen on December 7, Mognews can report.
It comes after some parties who were disqualified by the Electoral Commission (EC) filed law suits to compel the commission to reinstate them.
Two parties, including the National Democratic Party (NDP), have so far sued the EC, with many more suits expected in the coming days.
The NDP, which is being represented by Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah, is seeking the following reliefs:
(a) To get their candidate Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings reinstated.
(b) An injunction on the EC’s programme towards the elections until the final determination of the case.
If the court agrees to place an injunction on the commission’s programme, it is likely to affect the December 7 voting date and force the EC to call for a postponement of the elections.
The EC, last week, disqualified Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) , Hassan Ayariga of the All People's Party (APC), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings of the National Democratic Party(NDP), Edward Mahama of the People's National Convention (PNC) and Madam Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) from contesting the elections.
Eight other parties were also disqualified.
In a related development, President John Mahama's canpaign suffered a setback when he was booed and mocked by some traders calling for change at Darkuman Kokompe in Accra.
