NPP to launch manifesto today

The party had intended to launch its manifesto before the NDC but said the NDC is likely to plagiarise it ideas.
The New Patriotic Party will today Sunday, October 9, 2016, launch its manifesto at the Trade Fair, La, in the Greater Accra Region.
The party's manifesto launch comes on the heels of bitter accusation of alleged plagiarism of it manifesto by the National Democratic Congress and the All People's Congress (APC).
It will become the fourth political party to launch its manifesto after the Progressive People's Party, NDC and the APC.
The party had intended to launch its manifesto before the NDC but said the NDC is likely to plagiarise the manifesto.
The manifesto is expected to explain how the party is going to implement its 1-district-factory policy, 1-village-1-dam and $1 million for all 270 constituencies.
The party in a statement earlier said the “The launch of the manifesto, which contains the solutions Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the party propose to help fix the myriad of problems facing the country, including how to resolve the unemployment problem among young Ghanaians."
"Starting from 2 pm, the event will be presided over by Ghana's most successful democratic leader, President John Agyekum Kufuor,” a statement signed by acting General Secretary John Boadu said.
The statement added: “The manifesto launch will be followed later in the afternoon by a major political rally, which will be opened to all supporters and members of the general public.”
“In attendance will be the Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia,” the statement added.
After the manifesto launch, the party will hold a rally at the forecourt of the Trade Fair.
“The rally will be preceded by a stakeholder briefing of the manifesto to Civil Society and Identifiable Groups, Embassies and Diplomatic Missions and Political Parties at the Unique Events Palace, Trade Fair Center at 12 pm prompt ,” the statement added.

Its a tight schedule but all V-16 Groups must fully participate in mobilizing members for the various constituencies as much as possible. Your participation in grand style is highly needed for the success of Nana's campaign tour in the region.

Thanking you all for every little effort you are making for NPP to takeover the administration of this country from January 2017.

We want the maximum participation of all the V-16 groups in the various constituencies. They should help in the mobilization.
