Man who killed pregnant woman burnt to death Yesterday.

A 27-year-old man, Sarfo, who allegedly killed a pregnant woman at Ayiem at Amenfi Central in the Western Region last week, has reportedly been killed by angry residents.
Safo is said to have gone into hiding after killing the woman, but was arrested today by community guards who had been hunting for him.
The angry youth, after capturing him, ignored pleas elders of the town to hand him over to the police, and set him ablaze moments later, a report by kasapafmonline said.
The assembly member of the area, Raphael Akudbilla Messiah, is said to have condemned the youth for killing Safo, stressing that they should have allowed the law to take its course.

Unemployed nurses petition President Mahama

The aggrieved unemployed nurses on Wednesday, April 27, embarked on another demonstration to register their misgivings over delays in their postings. The nurses and midwives at the Kwame Nkrumah circle in Accra The graduate nurses and midwives took to the street because the Health Ministry has failed to get them posted. The nurses and midwives have been home for the past 10 months Clad in their uniforms and red bands, the nurses converged on the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra; where they carried placards with inscriptions like – “A hungry nurse is a potential killer, We are tired of staying home, We need our financial clearance now; no more delays, Evidence based nurses and midwives demonstration”.
