Yeji accident claims two lives

Gyau and Kofi Nimo, two Yeji-based footballers have lost their lives in a ghastly accident on the Yeji-Atebubu road in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The two, died on the spot when the driver of the vehicle they are travelling lost control leading to the car somersaulting and landed in a ditch on Sunday.
The deceased, 25-year-old Noah, 24 according to Burst FM were returning from a colleague’s wedding when the unfortunate incident occurred.

He indicated that, the driver of car with registration number JS 3411-13 was driving on top speed thus could not control the vehicle while negotiating a shape curve.
The report by the Radio station indicated that the driver and other passengers onboard the vehicle sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the St. Mathias hospital in Yeji.
The bodies of the two Yeji-based footballers have been deposited St. Mathias hospital pending autopsy.
