Police to invite NDC official over alleged hoarding of guns

Director of Operations for the election taskforce of the Ghana Police, Chief Superintendent Dr. Benjamin Agordzor says his outfit will soon invite NDC Communications Director for Asunafo South in the Brong Ahafo Region, Derrick Nii Lokko to assist the police with details of his claim that over 250 guns are in possession of both NPP and NDC supporters in the constituency. Derrick Nii Lokko has stated that supporters of the two biggest political parties in the country, NDC and NPP are hoarding over 250 guns for self-defense ahead of this year’s general elections. “Over 250 guns are currently in the possession of both NDC and NPP supporters. Most of the people in the area are having sophisticated ammunitions such as pump action guns in their custody” Nii Lokko told host of Adom FM’s current affairs programme “Burning Issues” while speaking on the recent happenings in the constituency.
