NDC manifesto highlights

President John Dramani Mahama in the presentation of the NDC’s highlights of the 2016 manifesto touched on four thematic areas.
According to the president the National Democratic Congress manifesto will focus on:

1.Putting people first; social services and human resources

2. Strong and resilient economy for job creation

3. Expanding social and economic structures; housing estate

4. Transparent and accountable governance

President Mahama also revealed during the presentation that in his second term of office students would be equipped to electronically access text books.
“ Students will receive tablets that have all their core subjects on the tablet. If the pilot is successful, the programme shall be expanded.”
He opined that a lot would be seen under the education sector once Ghanaians renew his mandate on December 7, 2016.

Mahama also noted: “By the time I leave office, Ghana will have the best road network in West Africa, that’s my dream.”
Giving a sneak preview into the 2016 Manifesto of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of its launch Saturday in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region, President Mahama said he is Ghana’s only true agent of transformation.
