Nana Addo monitors ongoing limited registration in A/R

The 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is monitoring the ongoing limited registration exercise in the Ejisu Juaben and Oforikrom constituencies of the Ashanti region.
His first point of call was the Alafia Polling Station in the Oforikrom constituency were he interacted with registration officials of the Electoral Commission, NPP polling agents and also eligible voters who were in the queue waiting for their turn to be registered.
Nana Addo urged agents of the NPP at the polling station to remain vigilant and ensure that only eligible voters are registered, stressing that a credible voters’ register is the key to fostering confidence in the electoral process.
He also took the opportunity to interact with residents of Anloga, and encouraged first time voters to register, as this will afford them the opportunity to decide who to vote for in this year’s election and also go a long way to determining the kind of future they want

Unemployed nurses petition President Mahama

The aggrieved unemployed nurses on Wednesday, April 27, embarked on another demonstration to register their misgivings over delays in their postings. The nurses and midwives at the Kwame Nkrumah circle in Accra The graduate nurses and midwives took to the street because the Health Ministry has failed to get them posted. The nurses and midwives have been home for the past 10 months Clad in their uniforms and red bands, the nurses converged on the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra; where they carried placards with inscriptions like – “A hungry nurse is a potential killer, We are tired of staying home, We need our financial clearance now; no more delays, Evidence based nurses and midwives demonstration”. Government committed to making Ghana safe - Ambrose Dery

Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has assured Ghanaians that government is committed to making the country safe for the citizens.
